One of the most frequently asked questions about hats is “what style of hat should I wear to suit my face?” The golden rule is to wear a hat that you feel comfortable and confident in, a style which suits the occasion.
Today we will talk a little bit about my favourite accessory ever and it is my favourite because it ads a “masculinity effect”(if you can call it this way) to my look.
Hats always bring a cool vibe to any outfit, but the fedora hat takes it to another level. Not only do they serve a functional purpose on those not-so-great hair days, but also keep you warm and transform an outfit.
Anytime you want to look chic without looking like you tried too hard, , throw on a fedora.
Throughout the time i found that this is the only one that represents my style the most.
“At first they were symbols of wealth and stature – only royalty were allowed to wear them”
Fedora hats are always thought of to be menswear or at least menswear inspired accessories for women. A lot of women don’t go for fedora hats because they think that these are only for men or women who can pull off a masculine kind of look.
However, the history of the fedora hat actually contradicts this. Back in the late 1800s the fedora hat was introduced in a play as an accessory for women but after that it soon became a fashion staple for men. Fedoras have become widely associated with men.Indiana Jones popularized the fedora in the Indiana Jones franchise.Michael Jackson frequently wore a fedora in public appearances, concerts and video clips.
Today, though, fedora hats are worn by both men and women.
So my questions is WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT FEDORA HATS? DO YOU LIKE WEARING THEM? OR WHICH ONE IS YOUR FAVOURITE?
