CALA PI

CALA PI

I know,it wasn´t long time ago when i was counting down the days to summer. But now it is middle of september and i can´t believe how fast time flies. Our plan for summer was to travel a lot and enjoy the summer as we never did before and build memories.

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming:
‘Wow! What a Ride!’”
– Hunter S. Thompson

Reading this travel quote result in purchasing plane tickets ✈ The feeling that we didn ´t explore the island to the maximum last time when we’ve been here felt like an unfinished business and found ourselves once again on the beautiful island of Mallorca. Here´s a new place that we discovered down there.

Cala Pi – A small natural treasure

The beach of Cala Pi lies deeply embedded in a wooded gorge in the south of Majorca. Cala Pi nestles between steep, wooded cliffs, you have to go down a long set of steps to get to the narrow bay. Before doing that you should enjoy the impressive view from the platform at Torre de Cala Pi, a 17th century watchtower.

This natural beauty offers a clean, light sandy beach and fantastic water conditions. The lush green cliffs, which have very few buildings on them, rise spectacularly and yet completely harmoniously from the deep blue water to the sky. The intimate atmosphere of the bay is enhanced further by the Cala Pi beach bar.

On the beach, which is never really crowded despite being well-known, you will find sun loungers, beach umbrellas and a lifeguard on duty. On the right-hand side there are some boat shelters, which are rarely used and that adds charm to the beach.
